Statistics Canada Taps BancTec Technology for 2011 Canadian Census

DALLAS, TEXAS - JUNE 26, 2009 - BancTec Canada, Inc., a provider of advanced, high-volume, document and payment processing solutions and services, announced today that Statistics Canada, the country's central statistical agency, has selected BancTec hardware and software as key technical components for its 2011 Census solution. Specifically, the agency will utilize BancTec's workflow management software, as well as up to nine IntelliScan XDS high-speed document scanners.
